Electronics engineering  is a field of study that allows student to design, develop and test components, devices, systems, or equipment that use electricity as part of its source of power. These components are capacitors, diodes, resistors and transistors. The students are taken through series of projects, initial brief concept, design and developmental stage, testing of prototypes, and the final manufacture and implementation of a new product or system.

INDUSTRIAL ATTACHMENT

Student in electronics engineering are given attachment letter to companies during the long vacation to enhance their practical skills

Certificate: after completion  student are awarded certificate II by technical exam unit and national board for professional and technician examination(NABPTEX) for certificate two student and those offered part III were awarded electronics engineering part III by technical exam unit.

CERTIFICATE II COURSE:

Is a three year course offered the following as the elective subjects?

  • Principle of electronics
  • Radio and television technology
  • Technical drawing
  • Practical /project work

Minimum entry qualification for certificate II is

Junior high school graduate

ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING PART III

This course is a two years course and student offered the following subjects

  • Principle of electronics
  • Operational amplifier (op-amp)
  • Digital electronics
  • Microcontroller and microprocessor
  • Practical /project work

Minimum entry requirement is passes in certificate II, senior high school graduate.
